Byung-Yun Yu founded the Thames Philharmonia in 2000. It has performed in the past at St. Andrew’s Church Surbiton, Kingston Parish Church, Regents Hall Oxford Street, St John’s Waterloo, Fairfield Hall Croydon, St John’s Smith Square London, Landmark Arts Centre, Teddington, London Full Gospel Church. Full details from 2001 to the present day can be seen below. The London Full Gospel Church, Raynes Park offers the orchestra their church hall for rehearsal. Musicians are most grateful for this. The Thames Philharmonia, together with the London Full Gospel Choir, the resident choir, have in the past performed Haydn’s Creation, Mozart’s Requiem, Elgar’s The Black Knight and other choral works.
